ARE THERE RATES FOR PRIVATE GUIDES?
Because all our tours are different our prices vary as well, depending upon what is required. Best is to fill out the inquiry form on the web site or send us an email with your requested date, the size of your group and any special requests, and then we can get back to you with a details quote.
WHERE DO THE TOURS START?
For private tours our guides will come and meet you at your accommodation and you can go direct from there. Or we can meet you at the airport, at the port, or wherever else is easiest for you, there is really no limitation on pick up location.
ARE THE TOURS IN A VEHICLE OR ON FOOT?
This depends on the tour. Should you like to have i.e. in-depth sightseeing of Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana, that can only be done by walking, while many other guided tours must be done in a vehicle.
WHAT DOES A PRIVATE TOUR REALLY MEAN?
It means you are the only client for that tour.
HOW MANY OF US CAN JOIN IN?
We do not provide open small group tours, however if you want to bring your extended family, that’s fine. We can accommodate 7 clients in a van, anything exceeding that number, we need to hire a mini bus. Your tour, your group.
DO YOU OFFER TOURS NOT LISTED ON OUR WEB PAGE?
We offer tours that are fully customized to fit your interests. We are familiar with neighbouring countries (Italy, Austria and Croatia) and can be added as extension to your trip as well. Just let us know your preferences and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
CAN YOU ORGANISE MULTIPLE-DAY TOURS?
Yes, of course! Some of the itineraries listed on our tours page can serve as suggestions. One of the best thing about booking a private guide with Private Guide Slovenia is that everything is customised to fit your interests.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
